Power Steering Hose Replacement Kit – T3

Universal set of plastic/rubber front to rear power steering hoses for all T3s.

These flexible hoses replace the solid metal feed line from the flexi pipe in the engine bay all the way to the rack, and the return line all the way from the rack to the reservoir.

From the factory there were a bewildering array of different pipes for 2WD, 4WD, Petrol, Diesel, LHD and RHD variants, this kit will fit all models!

Return hose is over long for some models and is to be cut to length.

The hoses are of the correct type that they will not transmit power steering noises to the cabin nor will they degrade due to the agressive nature of the power steering fluid used on the T3 (ATF Dexron II)
The hoses are flexible enough to conform and route nicely unlike standard hydraulic hoses, we suggest that they are cable tied to the front to rear coolant and heater pipes and hoses.
The fittings on the feed pipe have the correct seat so they will mate properly to the standard threaded adapters in the steering rack as well as mating to the flexible pipe from the PAS pump in the engine bay.

We advise that the power steering filter in the bottom of the power steering fluid reservoir is replaced at the same time as the hoses, please see related items.

The hoses will attach to the original threaded adapers in the steering rack, the original threaded adapters do not need to be replaced however they are usually heavily corroded and most customers seem to like to swap them as a matter of course.
