Ignition coil to suit early T3 models with non pin type fitting (DIN).

Fitted on T3 up to WV2ZZZ24ZEH155000 – Pick up.

Fitted on T3 up to WV2ZZZ25ZEH155000 – Van, Kombi, Caravelle.

Used on 1.6l “CT” engine, 2.0l “CU” engine, 1.9l “DF” engine, “DG” engine etc.

Please note that this item is made by Bosch who made ignition coils for VW that the secondary resistance no longer matches the test data supplied by VW, Bosch are aware of the issue but as yet have to comment. Coils now made in Brazil and not Germany. That said we have tried them on local workshop customers vans and they appear to be working fine just that the test data no longer matches what VW and Bosch supply. As the primary resistance matches the test data and it would be a mismatch here that would upset other ignition system components then we are happy to sell them but feel it would be wrong of us just to sell these knowing they weren’t quite as factory specification. We presume that a slightly higher secondary resistance means more internal coils on the secondary winding would induce a higher voltage then this may be beneficial to older, worn engines as it would provide a higher spark voltage.
