Details
VW T3 Header Tank Cap to suit all T3 with screw type caps.
Made by the original manufacturer for VW, same valve assembly as the VW item, just a different style cap shape.
Basically a genuine cap in a different style body and a more attractive price!
There have been a few iterations of this item over the years, this items replaces black and blue caps.
Synonyms for this part could be.
- Radiator cap. (not on a radiator is it!)
- Expansion tank cap. (as the tank this screws on to is meant to be full to the brim of coolant then no expansion goes on here!)
- Coolant reservoir cap. (The coolant reservoir is behind the rear flap!)
As this cap screws on to the header tank then we call this as a header tank cap!
