Details
Aftermarket aluminium sump for VW T3 Diesels inc. Syncro.
Suitable for engines, 1,6D, 1.6TD and 1.7D
Turbo oil return drilling is supplied with a blank so it can be used on naturally aspirated engines.
Comes with 2 sump drain points (with sump plugs fitted), great if you wish to fit a sump mounted Oil Temperature sender – See Related Items below.
Suitable for 1.9 TD and TDI conversions as well as most of the common VW Inline 4 engines
Sump gasket available as a related item below.
Note, whilst card gaskets are available, they’re not suitable for a T3 in our opinion due to the angle of the sump meaning its permanently sat in oil down the left hand side.
This causes the paper gasket to swell and degrade.
For this reason we’d only recommend the rubber gasket rather than the cheaper alternative.
