A complete Dual Mass Flywheel and Clutch kit suitable for higher output VW engine conversions on T3 models, including TDI

A few points…

  1. This is a clutch/flywheel kit for another vehicle. As such the manufacturer won’t honour any warranty claims as it has been fitted to a vehicle its not specified for.
    We have fitted them to customers vehicles and our own, never had an issue, and we only fit amd sell the quality OEM brands – Sachs or LUK.
  2. This kit will NOT work with the original gearbox input shaft, please use the “TDI Input Shaft” listed below.
  3. You’ll need to clearance your bellhousing as the flywheel is bulkier than the standard one. This is quite straightforward and nothing too extreme. The simplest way to do this is to bolt the flywheel up to the engine, bolt the bell housing to the engine loosely and turn the engine over by hand. You”ll then see marks on the bell housing where it needs to be clearanced.
  4. Timing marks. These are on the standard clutch cover but there are none on this flywheel/clutch.
    So, in order to set your engine up properly you’ll need to accurately mark the flywheel so you can set it to TDC to set the timing.
  5. Release bearing. Theres one in the box. You can’t use it on a T3. Throw it away, use it as a paperweight, give it the kids to play with.
    Standard T3 release bearing will work (see related items).

All this is standard stuff for any kind of modification, but we have to say that if you’re not comfortable with any of it… don’t buy.
