This product is for European vehicles imported into the UK that would like their speedo to read in MPH rather than KPH.
There have been some concessions to the design due to the limitations of what we have to work with namely the resting point of the needle is at 12.5MPH so we have left the 10MPH marker off the design.
Obviously the odometer and trip counter will still read in Kilometers.
This is a sticker, made from vinyl, it's not going to match the other dial perfectly (Rev counter / Analogue clock) however it's pretty close due to the matt laminate, remember it's a sticker and it's pretty cheap!
We have gone to a lot of effort to check that the markings are correctly spaced and accurate but with the amount of T3 now sporting different wheel and tyre combinations and the fact that it is afterall it is but a sticker and could be put on in the wrong place then we don't want a load of emails saying that you've now got a bunch of speeding tickets because you did 34 when your dash said 30mph!! It's worthwhile installing the sticker and verifying the readings via GPS.
Installation requires the removal of the instrument binnacle, removal of the spedometer from the binnacle.
There is a bit of a gotcha here, the needle needs flipping over the needle stop, it should align with a small white mark on the circumerance of the original dial, if not take note or mark it's resting place.
The needle is quite tight but removed by simply pulling straight off with finger and thumb.
Simply remove the 2 small screw and set aside.
Apply sticker to dial, screw back on.
Refit needle aligned to the factory mark, or your own mark.
And as all good workshop manuals say, refitting is reverse of removal!
