A brand new, sensibly priced flywheel and clutch kit for VW T3 running alternative engines that want to run a 228mm clutch.
Tested and woking on AAZ and GTI engines that can be marginal on clutch slip with a 215mm (Diesel) clutch installed.
Requires the use of a "TDI" input shaft (a special gearbox input shaft with 28 splines that will marry up to the clutch)
Will work with TDI engines too, 1Z, AFN, AHU etc however not recommended, we would always say to use a DMF for these engines.
Bellhousing will require adaption by means of grinding small areas of the inside face in a couple of places and is well documented on the internet as well as the starter nose needs a tickle just as using a DMF does.
The original shaped cover plates will no longer fit, please use the stainless items in the related items below.
Obviously, as this clutch and flywheel kit is not fitted to the vehicle it was designed for then it is void of any warranty.
Also, as the kit is designed for another vehicle then there are some parts included in the kit which will end up in the bin like the clutch release bearing. please use a T3 clutch release bearing.
