Details
ABS plastic radiator grille baffle for aircooled VW T3 models with round headlamps.

Originally made from a card like material they degrade and become insecure and fall off.
Our reproductions are made from a textured ABS material which gives a similar appearance to the originals (admittedly hidden mostly behind the grille!) are light weight and will not degrade like the originals did.
As these parts were fitted to the grille from the factory there is no VW number for them listed in ETKA.
The mounting holes align with the original pins (if they haven’t snapped off by now!) so the mushroom part can simply be carefully cut off leaving a small pin protruding from the rear side of the grille. The new baffle can then be simply dropped over the pins and can either be bonded in place with your favourite adhesive or the pins can be melted back with a soldering iron to hold the baffles firmly in place.

Product tested and trail fitted to original Genuine VW grilles, these have not been tested on aftermarket grilles.
