Details
Replacement original style shear bolt for the steering column mounts on T3 and T4 models.
Also used on VW Iltis and LT models up to 1983
These are as simple Anti Theft device, the heads are designed to shear off when tightened so they cannot easily be removed to swap the column and steal you the vehicle.
Generally they are replaced with a standard set screw (see related items), but if you’re looking for 100% originality then these are what you need.
Sold seperately, 2 required on everything but the Iltis which just has one.
