Good quality aftermarket rear gas dampers for 14″ syncro models

The Bilstein B4 are a “standard” replacement gas damper.

They’re not an “extreme off road” damper.

You’d truly be an idiot to take them on an overland expedition of thousands of miles in a grossly overweight vehicle and expect them to continue to perform as you career through deserts and down mountains.

There are options if that’s your thing, but these will suit what most people use their Syncro for… on road and mild “green laning” on vehicles who’s weight is well within the parameters that VW specify on the little plate on the right hand front cab step.
