Trailing arm bolt set to suit all VW T3 models.
All hardware is zinc flake coated for longevity.
Vehicle set, enough for both sides.
- 4 high tensile bolts.
- 8 washers.
- 4 self locking nuts.
- 2 black plastic cover caps.
The black plastic cover caps are fitted to the outside jacking point but are often missing.
Yes, we appreciate that this kit is probably the most expensive one on the market but that’s for good reason!

Our thread pitch is correct at 1.5mm so your torque settings will work properly, there are companies out there selling the standard thread builders use, 1.75mm and as such will confuse your torque settings, you don’t want bits of suspension coming loose do you!
The factory repair manual lists the torque setting as 100Nm.
e.g. If you use an un-plated M12x1.75 10.9 bolt (that are being sold for T3 trailing arm use) then using standard bolt tightening charts the torque should be 125Nm, if you use data from the repair manual at 100Nm (and why wouldn’t you?) your bolts will be loose!!
Our hardware is zinc flake coated, much more expensive than no coating at all (recipe for disaster!) and slightly more expensive than BZP (Bright Zinc Plate) but offers substantially higher corrosion resistance, just what you want on the underside of a vehicle that is subject to moisture and salt.
The nuts are self locking type, granted not the exact same type VW used but self locking none the less and not a cheap split washer or worse still a standard, plain nut!
Basically our kit is as close to factory specification as we can get without having custom parts made, we haven’t just opted for any old rubbish from Ali Express, we put the effort in to find the right parts because we want them to go out of the door and never be seen or heard of ever again!
