There is a bus shelter with plenty of graffiti behind it, this is our building, take the next left into Bridge Works. If you get to the Jacobs Well you have gone too far .

Location. SJ Baxter Motor Engineers is located 3.5 miles from Huddersfield Town centre in a village called Honley, just down the road from Holmfirth within easy reach of the M1 and M62 motorways. We are situated just off the A6024 Woodhead road, the main road between Huddersfield and Holmfirth. For SatNav users. N53.60382 W01.78743 Directions from the M1, Northbound. Leave M1 at J35a Straight accross 1st roundabout. Last chance for fuel for a few miles at the second roundabout, if you don't need fuel, straight accross. A few miles to cover now! This is the A616, basically just stay on this! Up hill. Down dale. Past "Stocksbridge" Through "Langset" 3rd roundabout, straigh accross to mini roundabout by "Flouch Hotel" Straigh across. Down dale. Up hill. Through "Birds Edge" Past Hepworth pipe factory. Down dale. Past "Crag Rats" restaurant Through "Jackson Bridge" Past "Red Lion". Into "New Mill" When you get to "The Duke of Leeds" pub on your left slow down as you need to take the next right. As soon as you turn right you need to turn left immediatley!! You need to pass the "White Hart" on your right. The signs are for the A616, so just follow those. Through trees. Into "Brockholes" Past "The Rock" pub, then the "Travellers Rest" Past BP and Co-Op on the right. Into "Honley" You need to take the next proper left, it's by "Bridge garage" Past "DaVinci's Pizza" shop on left. Traffic lights turn left. Past bus stop on left. Next left into "Bridge Works". If you follow the wall around on your left you will find us in the far corner of the yard. Directions from M62 Leave M62 at J24 "Ainley Top" Follow signs for Huddersfield town centre. Join Huddersfield Ring Road. Follow signs for Sheffield. Once you get on the A 616, follow this until you reach a texaco garage on the left, just after a reasonably sharp sweeping bend in the road to the right. Carry on this road until the road splits in two by the Somerfields fuel station on the right, you need to be in the right lane. This is the A6024 Woodhead road. To the traffic lights by the railway pub. Straight accross lights, beware that oncoming traffic sets off before you do! Once through lights there is a bus stop on the left. Next left into "Bridge Works". If you follow the wall around on your left you will find us in the far corner of the yard. Public Transport. There is a bus stop right outside, or a short walk will give you more choice of busses in Huddersfield if needed. There is also a railway station in Honley, it is .6 miles away from the garage up a gentle hill, it is on the Huddersfield - Sheffield line. Beware the trains are the rickety old ones that stop everywhere!
