About Brickwerks.
Brickwerks is a range of products and services offered by SJ Baxter Motor Engineers specifically for the VW T3, T4 or Caddy owner.
SJ Baxter Motor Engineers is a young business owned by Simon Baxter, a fully qualified, skilled and experienced motor vehicle technician.

History.
SJ Baxter Motor Engineers came about in April 2005 primarily as a repair garage, but selling a few parts that were held in stock just as a bit of a sideline, the repair garage was always the primary business interest.
After a year or so the mail order side of the business really took off but with the garage being so busy it was hard to keep up or do anything about it!
It became apparent that we needed a web-shop to let people know what products we have on the shelf ready to go, so here it is, months of hard work trying to get everything together as well as trying to keep the garage ticking over and finding the time to balance family life and travel to VW shows to bring van parts to the masses.

We trade at VW events where possible through the summer and often hold off the cuff events at Brickwerks Towers in Huddersfield including "Mr Baxter's Saturday Morning Multicoloured Swap Shop" where VW owners are encouraged to bring their VW spares from the back of their garage to try to sell them on to other VW owners for free and "Syncro Saturday" where VW syncro owners meet up, have a chat then have a spot of green laning in the afternoon.

Why use brickwerks products?
The answer is simple, we have been around these vehicles long enough to have encountered most problems to be able to know how to fix them, and which parts to use.
All the parts in this website are stocked and used in our workshop on a daily basis, our intention is not to sell poor quality parts as we all know how frustrating it is doing a job twice!

Wherever possible the parts advertised on this site are in stock, on the shelf ready for workshop or mail order use, for some items though it is quicker, easier and cheaper to use "drop shipping" where products are dispatched directly from our trade contacts even though we have it at the workshop.  This makes the parts cheaper for us, which makes them cheaper for you and is also better for the environment as the parts have to do less miles in the back of a truck, therefore using less fuel.
